By controlling the action of the diaphragm during both the suction and discharge phase, the drive principle achieves repeatable accuracy. The constant contact with the diaphragm ensures the maximum amount of additve is discharged and prevents buildup of gas. Control over speed, acceleration and position of the diaphragm: minimizes pressure peaks, virtually eliminates vibration, and discharges the additive more evenly. The easy to use microprocess control system translates the operator instructions into the correct pump output. This allows the pump to provide the exact requested amount. The display allows for 14 different languages to become an integral component for products aimed at worldwide manufacturing. 71110 series pumps can be controlled manually or with an external pulse or analog (0/4-20mA) signal. 73110 series pumps have the following methods of control: manual, external pulse, analog (0/4-20mA), timer based batch and pulse-based batch.
